I got the music for this song while playing with a friend’s harp during my first trip to Ireland (the only time I’ve gone without my own harp!). I knew what it would end up being about, but I was very nervous to write the lyrics. Two years later, the lyrics came to visit me one night and wouldn’t let me sleep until I wrote them down.
